IT jobs accounted for a 10.01% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in April 2022, registering a decrease of 2.56% over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in April 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in South & Central America with a share of 53.57% in April 2022, a 48.28% drop over the previous month. Computer and Information Analysts came in next, claiming a share of 25% in April 2022, marking a 63.16% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer Support Specialists with a share of 10.71% in April 2022, a 57.14% drop from March 2022.

General Motors with 2 IT jobs and Continental with 2 jobs, recorded a 100% rise and a flat growth, respectively, while Honda Motor recorded a 100% increase with 2 job postings during April 2022.
