Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in South & Central America with a share of 37.5% in May 2022, a 62.5% drop over the previous month. The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 11.11% in the overall IT recruitment activity of South & Central America’s auto industry during May 2022 over previous month.

AB Volvo posted 4 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered a decline of 33.33% over the previous month, followed by Bentley Motors with 1 job and a flat growth. Honda Motor with 1 IT job and Garrett Motion with 1 jobs, recorded a 50% drop and a flat growth, respectively, while Continental recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during May 2022.
