Romania’s auto industry registered a 12.8% rise in IT hiring activity in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 12.03% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
Out of the auto industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 21.25% share in August 2022, recording an increase of 0.27% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Romania’s auto industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Romania’s auto industry in August 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 81.11% in August 2022, registering a 158.82% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 9.22% share, an increase of 5.26% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 5.99%, registering a 30% rise from July 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 3.23%, down 30% over the previous month.
Top five auto companies in Romania’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 154.05% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Romania’s auto industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
Vitesco Technologies Group posted 68 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Robert Bosch with 62 jobs and a 313.33% growth. Continental with 22 IT jobs and Fritz Draxlmaier GmbHKG with 20 jobs, recorded a 54.17% decline and a 100% growth, respectively, while ZF Friedrichshafen recorded an increase of 1500% with 16 job postings during August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 55.76%, up by 44.05% from July 2022. Entry Level positions with a 42.4% share, registered an increase of 300% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 1.84% share, up 33.33% over July 2022.
