Romania’s auto industry registered a 3.8% drop in IT hiring activity in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.58% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
Out of the auto industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 21.14% share in July 2022, recording an increase of 1% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Romania’s auto industry’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Romania’s auto industry in July 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 61.82% in July 2022, registering a 68.08% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 17.27% share, a decrease of 29.63% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.09%, registering an 11.11% rise from June 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 9.09%, up 11.11% over the previous month.
Top five auto companies in Romania’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 55.91% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Romania’s auto industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
Continental posted 48 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a drop of 66.43% over the previous month, followed by Robert Bosch with 15 jobs and a 70.59% drop. Faurecia with 14 IT jobs and Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche with 10 jobs, recorded a 26.32% decline and a 42.86% growth, respectively, while Fritz Draxlmaier GmbHKG recorded a flat growth with 10 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.36%, down by 44.74% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 20.91% share, registered a decline of 75.27% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 2.73% share, down 81.25% over June 2022.
