Romania’s auto industry registered a 13.3% drop in IT hiring activity in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 11.87% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
Out of the auto industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 20.74% share in September 2022, recording a decrease of 0.5% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Romania’s auto industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Romania’s auto industry in September 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 74.29% in September 2022, registering a 59.59% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 17.14% share, a decrease of 18.18% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 7.62%, registering a 46.67% decline from August 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 0.95%, down 87.5% over the previous month.
Top five auto companies in Romania’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 43.18% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Romania’s auto industry during September 2022 over August 2022.
Vitesco Technologies Group posted 21 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a drop of 72% over the previous month, followed by Faurecia with 18 jobs and a 125% growth. ZF Friedrichshafen with 15 IT jobs and Continental with 13 jobs, recorded a 6.25% decline and a 60.61% decrease, respectively, while Renault recorded a flat growth with 8 job postings during September 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.19%, down by 42.03% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with a 20.95% share, registered a decline of 77.32% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 2.86% share, down 25% over August 2022.
