The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 47.15% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 19.29% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 0.32% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Robert Bosch IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Robert Bosch, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 77.34% in August 2022, and a 715.44% rise over July 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 9.48% in August 2022, and registered growth of 750%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 7.04% in August 2022, a 1342.86% rise from July 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at Robert Bosch
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 68.41% share, which marked a 760.53% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 20.71%, registering a 924.14% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with an 8.3% share and a 693.33% rise over July 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 2.37% and a month-on-month increase of 161.54%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.21%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 44.84% share in August 2022, a 954.1% growth over July 2022. India featured next with a 9.9% share, up 517.39% over the previous month. Poland recorded a 6.76% share, an increase of 4750% compared with July 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Robert Bosch IT hiring activity in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.66%, up by 754.1% from July 2022. Entry Level positions with a 13.81% share, a growth of 800% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 13.39% share, up 668% over July 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.14%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
