Germany-based company Robert Bosch’s IT hiring declined 28.4% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 30.63% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 19.76% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.1% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Robert Bosch IT hiring in July 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Robert Bosch, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 79.53% in July 2022, and an 88.39% drop over June 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 9.36% in July 2022, and registered a decline of 88.32%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 5.26% in July 2022, a 76.92% drop from June 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Robert Bosch

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 66.67% share, which marked an 88.21% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 16.96%, registering a 91.52% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with an 8.77% share and an 89.58% drop over June 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 7.6% and a month-on-month decline of 69.77%.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 35.67% share in July 2022, a 90.16% decline over June 2022. India featured next with a 13.45% share, down 84.87% over the previous month. Portugal recorded an 11.11% share, a decline of 68.85% compared with June 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Robert Bosch IT hiring activity in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.35%, down by 88.82% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 14.62% share, a decline of 86.98% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.87% share, down 89.72% over June 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.17%, recording a month-on-month increase of 100%.
