Germany-based company Robert Bosch’s IT hiring declined 27.7% in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 30.24% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 19.98% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 0.58% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Robert Bosch IT hiring in September 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Robert Bosch, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 78.03% in September 2022, and a 78.54% drop over August 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 10.16% in September 2022, and registered a decline of 69.31%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 5.9% in September 2022, an 86.76% drop from August 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at Robert Bosch
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 65.9% share, which marked a 79.51% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 24.26%, registering a 75.08% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 5.57% share and an 85.71% drop over August 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 4.26% and a month-on-month decline of 61.76%.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 48.85% share in September 2022, a 76.83% decline over August 2022. India featured next with a 19.02% share, down 59.15% over the previous month. Portugal recorded a 6.56% share, a decline of 39.39% compared with August 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Robert Bosch IT hiring activity in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.41%, down by 77.93% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 14.1% share, a decline of 77.6% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.49% share, down 83.84% over August 2022.
