Poland’s auto industry registered a 5.2% rise in IT hiring activity in May 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 7.14% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
Out of the auto industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 12.33% share in May 2022, recording a decrease of 0.63% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Poland’s auto industry’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s auto industry in May 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 75% in May 2022, registering a 56% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 15.38% share, an increase of 166.67% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.69%, registering a 33.33% rise from April 2022.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 1.92%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five auto companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in May 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 131.82% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s auto industry during May 2022 over April 2022.
Aptiv posted 22 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered a rise of 46.67% over the previous month, followed by Schaeffler with 10 jobs and a flat growth. AB Volvo with 7 IT jobs and Inter Cars with 7 jobs, recorded a 16.67% growth and a 600% growth, respectively, while BorgWarner recorded a flat growth with 5 job postings during May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.08%, up by 58.33% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with a 17.31% share, registered an increase of 28.57% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 9.62% share, up 150% over April 2022.
