The industry’s overall hiring increased by 6.86% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
Out of the auto industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 9.48% share in June 2022, recording a flat growth over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 54.21% in June 2022, registering a 38.1% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 14.02% share, a decrease of 11.76% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 14.02%, registering an 87.5% rise from May 2022.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 7.48%, down 38.46% over the previous month.
Top five auto companies in Mexico’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 93.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s auto industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Robert Bosch posted 38 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Continental with 21 jobs and a 19.23% drop. AutoZone with 15 IT jobs and MAHLE Konig KommanditgesellschaftKG with 7 jobs, recorded an 11.76% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while BRP recorded an increase of 200% with 6 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.68%, up by 32% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 26.17% share, registered an increase of 33.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 12.15% share, down 7.14% over May 2022.
