The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 1.2% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
Out of the auto industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.86% share in July 2022, recording a decrease of 1.2% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 39.77% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s auto industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
Continental posted 20 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a drop of 4.76% over the previous month, followed by AutoZone with 12 jobs and a 36.84% drop. Robert Bosch with 11 IT jobs and Mahle with 5 jobs, recorded a 77.08% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Faurecia recorded a flat growth with 5 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.86%, down by 39.24% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 22.97% share, registered a decline of 46.88% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 12.16% share, down 25% over June 2022.
