The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 10.27% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 14.63% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.46% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Mercedes-Benz Group IT hiring in July 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Mercedes-Benz Group, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 49.74% in July 2022, and a 7.77% drop over June 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 16.23% in July 2022, and registered growth of 181.82%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 15.71% in July 2022, a 3.45% rise from June 2022.

North America emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 54.97% share, which marked a 162.5% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 34.03%, registering a 17.72% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 10.47% share and a 56.52% drop over June 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.52% and a month-on-month flat growth.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 54.45% share in July 2022, a 160% growth over June 2022. Germany featured next with a 28.27% share, down 27.03% over the previous month. India recorded a 7.33% share, a decline of 26.32% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Mercedes-Benz Group IT hiring activity in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.39%, up by 27.43% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 13.09% share, a growth of 47.06% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 11.52% share, down 38.89% over June 2022.
