The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 23.24% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 19.74% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded a 1.4% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Mercedes-Benz Group IT hiring in April 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Mercedes-Benz Group, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 72.97% in April 2022, and a 24.62% rise over March 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 13.51% in April 2022, and registered growth of 66.67%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.91% in April 2022, a 1000% rise from March 2022.

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in April 2022 with a 66.67% share, which marked a 164.29% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 19.82%, registering a 24.14% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 13.51% share and a 25% drop over March 2022.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 62.16% share in April 2022, a 146.43% growth over March 2022. US featured next with an 11.71% share, down 27.78% over the previous month. China recorded a 9.91% share, an increase of 120% compared with March 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Mercedes-Benz Group IT hiring activity in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.36%, up by 63.41% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 24.32% share, a decline of 12.9% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 15.32% share, up 240% over March 2022.
