1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 50.07% in July 2022, registering a 6.62% growth over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 21.63% share, a decrease of 1.35% over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 20.44%, registering a 56.82% rise from June 2022.

4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 6.22%, up 50% over the previous month.

Top five auto companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 122.39% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s auto industry during July 2022 over June 2022.

Mahindra & Mahindra posted 204 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a rise of 300% over the previous month, followed by Valeo with 88 jobs and a 225.93% growth. ZF Friedrichshafen with 64 IT jobs and Faurecia with 58 jobs, recorded a 28% growth and a 75.76% growth, respectively, while Mitsubishi Motors recorded a decline of 17.5% with 33 job postings during July 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 48.3%, down by 2.98% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 37.19% share, registered an increase of 2.03% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 14.22% share, up 284% over June 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.3%, recording a month-on-month increase of 100%.
