Top five auto companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 40.05% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s auto industry during September 2022 over August 2022.

EDAG Engineering Group posted 151 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a rise of 251.16% over the previous month, followed by Robert Bosch with 149 jobs and a 76.83% drop. Mercedes-Benz Group with 90 IT jobs and Volkswagen with 49 jobs, recorded a 50% growth and a 133.33% growth, respectively, while Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche recorded an increase of 257.14% with 25 job postings during September 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.83%, down by 45.83% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 13.9% share, registered a decline of 21.43% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.27% share, down 23.64% over August 2022.
