The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 9.52% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
Out of the auto industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.91% share in July 2022, recording an increase of 0.29% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.21% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s auto industry in July 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 20.37% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s auto industry during July 2022 over June 2022.
Faurecia posted 15 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a drop of 25% over the previous month, followed by Continental with 10 jobs and a 62.96% drop. The Goodyear Tire & Rubber with 8 IT jobs and Renault with 7 jobs, recorded a 100% growth and a 133.33% growth, respectively, while Garrett Motion recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.93%, down by 53.52% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 21.43% share, registered a decline of 47.83% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 19.64% share, flat growth over June 2022.
