
France-based company Faurecia’s IT hiring rose 3.5% in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.91% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 11.41% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 0.96% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Faurecia IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Faurecia, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 60.61% in August 2022, and a 3.61% drop over July 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 17.42% in August 2022, and registered a decline of 28.13%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 9.09% in August 2022, a 7.69% drop from July 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Faurecia
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 40.91% share, which marked a 23.94% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 40.15%, registering a 1.92% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 17.42% share and a 9.52% rise over July 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.52% and a month-on-month flat growth.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 36.36% share in August 2022, a 17.24% decline over July 2022. US featured next with a 12.88% share, up 30.77% over the previous month. Germany recorded an 11.36% share, an increase of 50% compared with July 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Faurecia IT hiring activity in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.12%, down by 14.58% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 25.76% share, a growth of 21.43% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.12% share, down 27.27% over July 2022.
