France-based company Faurecia’s IT hiring declined 2.1% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 3.45% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 10.95% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.94% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Faurecia IT hiring in July 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Faurecia, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 56.85% in July 2022, and a 7.79% rise over June 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 21.92% in July 2022, and registered growth of 39.13%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 8.9% in July 2022, a 7.14% drop from June 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Faurecia

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 48.63% share, which marked a 51.06% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 35.62%, registering a 16.13% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 14.38% share and a 16.67% rise over June 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.37% and a month-on-month flat growth.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 39.73% share in July 2022, a 75.76% growth over June 2022. France featured next with a 10.27% share, down 25% over the previous month. Romania recorded a 9.59% share, a decline of 26.32% compared with June 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Faurecia IT hiring activity in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.75%, up by 39.13% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 19.18% share, a decline of 17.65% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 15.07% share, down 15.38% over June 2022.
