France-based company Faurecia’s IT hiring declined 1.0% in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 3.63% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.

IT jobs claimed an 11.45% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 0.52% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Faurecia IT hiring in September 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Faurecia, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 59.44% in September 2022, and a 6.25% rise over August 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 20.28% in September 2022, and registered growth of 20.83%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 7.69% in September 2022, an 8.33% drop from August 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Faurecia

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 40.56% share, which marked a 7.41% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 38.46%, registering a 1.85% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with an 18.88% share and a 17.39% rise over August 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 2.1% and a month-on-month increase of 50%.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 36.36% share in September 2022, an 8.33% growth over August 2022. US featured next with a 14.69% share, up 23.53% over the previous month. Romania recorded a 12.59% share, an increase of 125% compared with August 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Faurecia IT hiring activity in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.84%, up by 4.82% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 26.57% share, a growth of 11.76% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.59% share, up 12.5% over August 2022.
