The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 3.25% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 16.31% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.04% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Continental IT hiring in September 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Continental, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 77.65% in September 2021, and a 42.61% drop over August 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 12.94% in September 2021, and registered a decline of 21.43%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 5.88% in September 2021, a 16.67% drop from August 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at Continental
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 51.76% share, which marked a 26.67% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 38.82%, registering a 32.65% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 9.41% share and a 77.78% drop over August 2021.
Romania commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 27.06% share in September 2021, a 14.81% decline over August 2021. Mexico featured next with a 25.88% share, down 24.14% over the previous month. Germany recorded a 20% share, a decline of 5.56% compared with August 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Continental IT hiring activity in September 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.82%, down by 46.83% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 14.12% share, a growth of 20% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.06% share, down 40% over August 2021.
