Top five auto companies in China’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 20.11% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s auto industry during September 2022 over August 2022.

Ningbo Joyson Electronic posted 191 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a rise of 3.24% over the previous month, followed by BYD with 37 jobs and a 53.16% drop. Punch Powertrain with 22 IT jobs and Guangzhou Xiaopeng Automobile Technology with 20 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 77.53% decrease, respectively, while Aptiv recorded an increase of 220% with 16 job postings during September 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.84%, down by 36.29% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 12.63% share, registered a decline of 40.96% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.99% share, down 26.19% over August 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.55%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
