The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 7.24% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

Top five auto companies in China’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 7.88% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s auto industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
Ningbo Joyson Electronic posted 99 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a drop of 55% over the previous month, followed by BYD with 85 jobs and a 129.73% growth. Zhejiang Zero Run Technology with 48 IT jobs and Punch Powertrain with 19 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 26.92% decrease, respectively, while Chongqing Changan Automobile recorded an increase of 100% with 18 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 84.21%, down by 8.98% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 10.53% share, registered a decline of 32.14% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.26% share, down 42.42% over September 2022.
