Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 58.56% in September 2022, a 39.57% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 21.86% in September 2022, marking a 24.29% month-on-month decline. Top five auto companies in Asia-Pacific’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 39.47% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s auto industry during September 2022 over previous month.

Ningbo Joyson Electronic posted 193 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Robert Bosch with 74 jobs and a 75.08% drop. ZF Friedrichshafen with 73 IT jobs and EDAG Engineering Group with 59 jobs, recorded a 17.98% drop and a 51.64% drop, respectively, while Faurecia recorded a 7.41% increase with 58 job postings during September 2022.

Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s auto industry

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 52.46% share in September 2022, a 27.55% decrease over August 2022. China featured next with a 35.34% share, down 35.87% over the previous month. Australia recorded a 5.28% share, a growth of 48.72% compared with August 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.39%, down by 29.68% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 25.05% share, registered a decline of 28.57% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 8.93% share, down 41.67% over August 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.55%, recording a month-on-month decline of 14.29%.
