Ireland-based company Aptiv’s IT hiring rose 26.5% in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 21.84% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 27.01% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 2.88% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Aptiv IT hiring in November 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Aptiv, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 68.32% in November 2022, and an 86.49% rise over October 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 15.84% in November 2022, and registered growth of 14.29%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 9.9% in November 2022, a 37.5% drop from October 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Aptiv
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 57.43% share, which marked a 100% rise over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 23.76%, registering a 4% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 17.82% share and a 5.88% rise over October 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.99% and a month-on-month flat growth.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 44.55% share in November 2022, an 80% growth over October 2022. Poland featured next with a 17.82% share, up 50% over the previous month. US recorded a 13.86% share, a decline of 17.65% compared with October 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Aptiv IT hiring activity in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.41%, up by 27.66% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 26.73% share, a growth of 42.11% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 13.86% share, up 180% over October 2022.
