North America was the fastest growing region for cybersecurity hiring among automotive industry companies in the three months ending April.

The number of roles in North America made up 38.8% of total cybersecurity jobs – up from 24.9% in the same quarter last year.

That was followed by Asia-Pacific, which saw a -4.3 year-on-year percentage point change in cybersecurity roles.

The top country for cybersecurity roles in the automotive industry is Germany which saw 38% of all roles advertised in the three months ending April.

Which cities are the biggest hubs for cybersecurity workers in the automotive industry?

Some 16.5% of all automotive industry cybersecurity roles were advertised in Stuttgart (Germany) in the three months ending April.

That was followed by Sindelfingen (Germany) with 7.1%, Maumee (United States) with 4%, and Novi (United States) with 3.7%.
