A recently granted patent (Publication Number: US11919680B2) discloses a unique storage case design featuring a latch mechanism, handle, and locking mechanism. The latch mechanism is designed to fix the case cover to the case body, with a handle swingably connected to the latch mechanism. A locking mechanism is included to simultaneously lock the latch mechanism and handle, ensuring secure closure. The locking member of the mechanism has two locking pieces that hook onto the handle and latch receiving portions, aligning in the direction of the handle's swing shaft.

Furthermore, the storage case's handle is U-shaped, housing the latch mechanism within it. The locking member overlaps the handle and latch mechanism vertically and in the open-close direction of the case cover. In the locked state, the latch and handle receiving portions align vertically and in the open-close direction. The locking member operates parallel to the handle's swing shaft, with additional features like support arms and a grip for ergonomic handling. The locking mechanism also includes a support member with a convex portion for contact with the locking member during operations, enhancing stability and functionality.
