Computer and Information Systems Managers came in second with a share of 3% in Q3 2022, with new job postings rising by 46% over the previous quarter.

The top companies, in terms of number of new job postings tracked by GlobalData, as of Q3 2022 were Joy Next, Robert Bosch, Visteon and Mercedes-Benz Group. Together they accounted for a combined share of 175% of all internet of things-related active jobs in the automotive industry.

Joy Next posted 1,714 internet of things-related new jobs in Q3 2022, Robert Bosch 356 jobs, Visteon 158 jobs, and Mercedes-Benz Group 88 jobs, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

Hiring activity was driven by China with a 40% share of total active job postings, Q3 2022

The largest share of internet of things-related new job postings in the automotive industry in Q3 2022 was in China with 40% followed by the US (16%) and Germany (12%). The share represented by China was 27 percentage points higher than the 13% share it accounted for in Q2 2022.
