Hankook has commissioned a new test centre on the premises of the Applus+ Idiada Group in Spain.
Hankook has been a tyre partner in Idiada from the very beginning and was significantly involved in the expansion of the test tracks on site in the past.

The new Hankook test centre has been equipped with paperless test logistics, from the recording of results to storage and transport processing.
“With the further expansion of our testing capacities in Spain, we are reaching the next level together with our local partner Applus+ Idiada,” said head of the European Research and Development Centre in Hanover, Klaus Krause.
“We are confident the newly installed testing facilities in particular will significantly improve our efforts to provide the best tyre testing conditions and services to our employees and customers. In addition, we will also be able to conduct significantly more tests on site.”
The official inauguration on site will take place as soon as the current pandemic situation allows.
