Morgan Motor Company, the British hand-built sports car manufacturer, has increased its American dealer network to a total of six following a series of new appointments.

The new dealers will offer the traditional Plus 8, which features a 4-litre Land Rover V8 engine.
“Large investments have been made in order to meet the strict 50 state emission level regulations set by the federal authorities,” said sales and marketing director Matthew Parkin. “Now that they have been met, we can concentrate on supplying our cars to what we consider to be a key market.”
The bespoke Plus 8 costs about $US60,000 and is available in over 30,000 body colors. Delivery time is approximately four months from order.
The new dealers are in Lake Bluff, Illinois; Birmingham Michigan; Ancram, New York; and Valencia, California.
The new appointments join Morgan’s existing importers in San Francisco and Purcellville, Virginia.
