Ford says the new Mustang will be previewed at Publika in Solaris Dutamas from 11-15 March, ahead of its official arrival in showrooms nationwide by December.

The event marks the first time the next-generation of the Ford vehicle will be on display in Malaysia.

To mark its fiftieth anniversary of continuous production, the sports car is going global, with Malaysia being one of a number of right-hand drive markets to receive the new Mustang.

Mustang will be offered in Malaysia in both a fastback and convertible and with a choice of a 5L V8, producing 435 horsepower and 390lb ft of torque, or a turbocharged, 2.3L EcoBoost engine, producing 310 horsepower.
