Millbrook, the former Vauxhall Proving Ground now an independent vehicle test, validation and engineering service provider, has named a former Renault Sport Technologies motor sport director as a COO.
Arnaud Boulanger, chief operating officer – test and engineering, joins on 6 July reporting to the CEO.

He has spent the bulk of his career at Renault Sport, in France and in the UK, initially as a test engineer before moving through various roles including head of process engineering and reliability. More recently he was motor sport director at Renault Sport Technologies, developing and supplying competition cars to a variety of customers. He has a broad experience of test and engineering, from engine assessment to whole car development.
Boulanger – his role is new – will be responsible for all Millbrook test services and the engineering group. He will work to improve the co-ordination of test and engineering departments to offer a more integrated test and engineering service and head the development of facilities and capabilities.
Kirsty Andrew has been appointed general manager – special vehicles responsible for vehicle conversions, armoured vehicles and special projects.
She has previously worked for Rover Cars, Cranfield Impact Centre, Williams Advanced Engineering and Cosworth.
Carl Field was named director – vehicle conversions, reporting to Andrew and has expertise in engineering, production and supply chain processes in vehicle conversions.
