Toyota plans to invest $US311 million to produce its luxury "Crown" car model in China, Access Asia reported. Production will start within two years and it will be the first time Toyota has produced a luxury car outside Japan. The car will be produced at Tianjin Toyota, a joint venture between Toyota and the Tianjin No. 1 Auto Corporation, the report said.
