CHINA: Volkswagen to build Touran minivan in new Changchun factory
Volkswagen is to build its new (Mark 5 Golf-based) Touran minivan model in China as well as at its major base in Wolfsburg, Germany, Access Asia reported. The report said the move is part of VW's strategy to expand production in China. The Touran will be built at a new factory in Changchun which will produce 300,000 vehicles a year.
