BorgWarner is providing its two-speed Torque-OnDemand transfer cases for Foton Motor’s recently launched Sauvana SUV.
BorgWarner’s Torque-On-Demand technology automatically redistributes torque from the rear wheels to the front wheels without driver intervention for traction, stability and enhanced dynamics.

BorgWarner’s Torque-On-Demand technology works directly with the vehicle’s control systems.

By GlobalDataMonitoring signals such as steering wheel angle, accelerator pedal position and wheel speed, the vehicle’s control systems command the transfer case to deliver the required amount of torque to the front and rear axles.
To enhance performance and fuel efficiency, the aluminium housing reduces total vehicle weight.
The all-wheel drive transfer case is also equipped with BorgWarner’s HY-VO transfer case chain.
