Volkswagen has launched an optional R-Line package for certain Beetle and Golf variants.

Costing ZAR12,500 (US$951), the package is available for the Sport 1.4 TSI 110kW trim of Beetle and Highline and Comfortline variants of Golf.

In the Beetle, the package adds features such as sport suspension, R-Line badging on the grille, rear spoiler, R-styled front and rear bumpers and 19-inch Tornado alloy wheels.

In the Golf, the package includes R-Line badging on the grille, rear spoiler, R-styled front and rear bumpers and 18-inch Serron alloy wheels (Highline) or 17-inch Salvador alloy wheels (Comfortline), among others.

So far, Volkswagen is offering the optional styling package only on CC, Tiguan, Scirocco and Touareg, iafrica.com reported.
