Hyundai Glovis, a logistics company affiliated with Hyundai Motor Group, signed a deal with a leading Thai conglomerate, Charoen Pokphand Group, to provide logistics services.
According to the agreement, Hyundai Glovis will initially supply a small fleet of battery powered delivery trucks in the fourth quarter of 2020 to Charoen Pokphand, to help deliver goods to the Thai company's nationwide network of around 12,000 7-Eleven convenience stores.

In a pilot programme scheduled to begin before the end of 2020, the electric trucks, to be supplied by Hyundai Motor, will operate from a network of logistics centres around Thailand.
This is the first entry by Hyundai Glovis into the Thai logistics market which the company says will lead to a broader expansion drive across south east Asia.
