Next year, HBPO will start its series production of front-end modules (FEM) in Saarland: from September 2020 onwards, the planned location of HBPO Saarland in Kleinblittersdorf will be supplying Daimler, 25 km away.

In terms of floor space, the factory will be the largest location belonging to the Top 100 automotive supplier HBPO, with 15,000 sqm (161,459 sq ft) planned. This will be the sixth production location opened in Germany by the global market leader for front-end modules, which has its company headquarters in Lippstadt/North Rhine-Westphalia. The company always builds its factories near to its customers in order to be able to deliver the manufactured modules at the precise moment they are required by the car manufacturer – just-in-sequence. Other German production locations are in Meerane, Regensburg, Ingolstadt, Rastatt and Vaihingen/Enz. HBPO supplies its products to all renowned automotive groups.
