Honda will extend its vehicle lines in the US next year with a new Honda-badged station wagon and an Acura-badged sports sedan, Bloomberg News reported, citing a new-product analyst.

Citing analyst Joseph Langley at AutoHorizon, a Massapequa Park, New York, consulting firm that provides information on new vehicles to suppliers, Bloomberg News reported that Honda would launch the Latitude small wagon, based on the Stream minivan model sold in Japan and Europe, plus a four-door Acura TSX sedan.

Langley told Bloomberg News that he expected both models to go on sale next year as 2004 models.

Bloomberg News added that Honda had filed for trademarks on both names, according to the US Patent and Trademark Office.
