Ake Bengtsson, acting president and CEO of Haldex since Bo Annvik left in March 2017, has been appointed to the role on a permanent basis.
"Bengtsson has proved to be a strong leader for Haldex during the past seven months," said chairman Jorgen Durban.

"[We have] been exposed to severe strains during the public offer process and [the company] has, despite this, been strengthened under his leadership. He has extensive experience from the manufacturing industry. He is strongly operation and business oriented with significant experience in change management of international operations..
Bengtsson was CFO for Haldex between 2015 and 2017. Prior to joining the supplier he was CFO for the Partnertech group, a global industrial partner offering customised solutions throughout the product lifecycle, from product development to manufacturing and aftermarket services.
Bengtsson has previously held several management positions at Cardo, Rexam and Rohm and Haas. He is 54.
