Trelleborg has finalised the acquisition of White Baumaschinenreifen GmbH (White) through its business area, Trelleborg Wheel Systems.
The company specialises in the service, fitting and repair of pneumatic and solid tyres for construction vehicles in Germany. The acquisition enlarges Trelleborg’s European distribution network for tyres for materials handling and construction vehicles.

The acquired company is located in Duisburg, Germany. Sales amounted to around SEK90m (US$10.7m) in 2016.
“The acquisition gives us the opportunity to expand our tyre service concept for materials handling and construction vehicles, while also allowing us to enhance our sales of service and distribution in Europe,” said Trelleborg Wheel Systems business area, Paolo Pompei.
“It strengthens our entire supply chain, from manufacturing to service of tyres.”
In September this year, Trelleborg, through its business area, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, invested in a new production facility for sealing solutions in Denmark, relocating its current manufacturing facility in the country.
