New PSA Peugeot Citroen CEO, Carlos Tavares, the former Renault COO who joined PSA on 1 January, will take over from Philippe Varin as president of the managing board on 31 March.

Varin had been expected to retire this year but PSA had declined to give any timing for the top job handover until now.
