INDIA: New car sales remain significantly behind two-wheelers

Motorcycle sales last month climbed 5% to 843,307 units from 800,165 units a year earlier. Total two wheeler sales in February rose by 10% to 1,220,012 units, an indication that there is still no large scale movement from two to four wheels in the country.
