The milestone car, a 1.6 litre Toyota Corolla, was delivered in Berlin to a Dr. Doris Marquardt along with a free trip for two to Lisbon, a new mobile phone and a hands-free phone kit.
For the January -July period of 2002, Toyota has sold 20,863 units in Spain, up 30% compared to the same period last year; 40,858 units in France, up 27%; 79,221 in Italy, up 19%; 58,500 units in Germany, up 15 %, and 74,788 units in the U.K., up 8%.
