Stile Bertone, the rump of the styling and vehicle manufacturing group founded by Giovanni Bertone, has been declared bankrupt and is for sale.

According to Wards Auto, the company was quietly bankrupted on 4 June after a six-month battle to keep it protected from creditors. The portal claims that BMW, BAIC, FAW, JMC and Chery Auto have all commissioned “recent” work from Stile Bertone.
