Reuters reported that Honda plans to raise the number of dealers in India to 230 by March 2015 from 179 now, as part of its push to sell more vehicles in a market seen as having great potential despite its current pause.

This week, Honda launched a seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle, Mobilio, in India.

Reuters also reported that Honda’s entry-level compact sedan Amaze and City models have increased the company’s sales in India by 40% year-on-year to 40,516 units in the April-June quarter.
