Denso has acquired 34% stake of Hefei Dyne Air Conditioner to help grow automotive aftermarket compressor business globally. Denso completed the transaction on 24 June.
Hefei Dyne will manufacture Denso’s compressors, used mainly for car air conditioners, for sales via the Japanese company’s global sales channels.

China-based Hefei Dyne manufactures a wide variety of high quality and cost-competitive aftermarket compressors sold in North America, Europe, Central and South America and Asia. With the acquisition, Denso’s aftermarket compressors will be manufactured by Hefei Dyne and sold through Denso’s global aftermarket business network. In addition, Denso will provide engineering support to Hefei Dyne to promote the quality of compressors.
