Kiekert says it has developed an LED latch that will see the a locking system and light solution within one door latch.
The company has integrated the light directly into the latch, noting in conventional solutions, the warning light built into the door latch is visible to road users through the entire opening radius.

The LED latch’s system architecture saves on packaging space and assembly time, while the weight of the side door is reduced.
