Dacia, Renault’s budget brand, this week reached the landmark of 3m sales since its relaunch in 2004.

To mark the occasion, the keys to the three millionth car, a Sandero Stepway, were handed over to a Spanish customer at Dacia’s stand at the Paris motor show on Tuesday by Renault Group senior vice president global sales Nicolas Wertans who said Dacia’s success “was due to a clear, straightforward pledge that fits perfectly with the expectations of motorists looking for a safe, reliable vehicle with a modern equipment and performance package at an affordable price.”
