Delphi has started operations at a new wire harness plant in Durango, Mexico, which is expected to create 3,000 new jobs and a further 6,000 indirect openings.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the supplier’s investment in the first phase is pegged at US$22.8m and that it also plans to upgrade the production capability at the Durango plant later under a second phase of development
