During
celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of its first diesel car, Volkswagen
announced that China’s FAW-Volkswagen will unveil an SDI (single point direct
injection) diesel Jetta (Bora) model in the first half of next year.
FAW-Volkswagen will be the first Chinese car maker to adopt SDI diesel engine
technology.

Volkswagen also said it would promote its latest environment-friendly diesel
